At Bartlett Legal Group, we believe in giving back through charity. We represent people whose lives have been forever altered by the negligent, reckless and intentional actions of others. We strive to protect the rights of our clients and to give voices to the victims of tragedies. In 2015 Attorney Bartlett instituted the Giving Back Program. Since starting this program over $50,000 has been donated to local charities. Attorney Frank Bartlett has pledged to donate a portion of every dollar earned in the representation of his personal injury clients to charitable organizations. This year’s primary charities are:
Hope After Loss is a community of women and men who grieve the loss of a pregnancy or infant. Through peer support, burial assistance, education, and awareness initiatives, we provide connections, comfort, and care to those who have experienced the loss of a baby.

Bartlett Legal Group, LLC is proud to sponsor the Hope After Loss 5K run/3K fitness walk at 9:00 am and the Remembrance Ceremony and Reflective Walk at 10:30 am. Registrants can choose to participate in either or both activities. There will also be vendor tents and food at the event as well.
Participants will join together in remembrance of babies who have gone too soon.

“The Footprints On Our Hearts Walk/5K is a great way for our organization to kick-off National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month in October,” said Christina Mailhos, Executive Director of Hope After Loss. “We are hoping to raise awareness about how isolating pregnancy and infant loss can be and show that it doesn’t have to be that way.”
All funds raised from the walk will go toward Hope After Loss’s programs: free bereavement support services to women and men who grieve the loss of a pregnancy or infant, burial assistance to low-¬income Connecticut parents who have lost a baby but cannot afford a burial or cremation, and community outreach and educational programs.
“In the last eight years, we estimate that 2,000 people have attended either our Footprints on Our Hearts Walk or our 5K and we have joined together to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars,” said Amber Smiley, Program Manager and one of the co-chairs of the event. “It is profoundly moving to see so many women, men, and children gather to remember together,” said Kim Nelly, Board Chair. “Because of the generosity of many people who made donations in support of our runners and walkers, and the many businesses that have sponsored these events, we have been able to help hundreds of bereaved families over the past 8 years.”
Bartlett Legal Group has sponsored Hope After Loss’s 5K events in the past. Come walk, run or dance your way across the finish line with a local DJ, stick around for some food and enjoy face painting among other fun activities. Bring your families and friends for a day filled with lots of smiles and miles all to support this wonderful organization.

Join Colin’s Crew for our Annual Night of Hope fundraiser. The event will include a cocktail fare with beer, wine, a signature cocktail, entertainment, and a silent auction. Connel McShane, Fox Business Network Anchor will be the emcee for the event. A special live auction with Chaz and AJ from WPLR radio as the auctioneers will feature “hero” artwork from children at local treatment centers.
All proceeds from the event will benefit three Colin’s Crew programs: Meals4Kids, Snacks4Kids, and Fun4Kids.
Tickets are $50 per person before March 15 or $60 after March 15, 2018.
Colin’s Crew is committed to raising funds through grassroots fundraising efforts to support families affected by childhood cancer. Colin’s Crew was inspired by friends and family of a brave boy, Colin Westbrook. Colin was your typically two-year-old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, (“ALL”) back in October 2009, just days after his second birthday.
Colin’s Crew was originally formed to provide support to the Westbrook family. As Colin continues to do well, Colin’s Crew is planning fundraisers to assist families in the same situation as the Westbrook’s

We have the utmost respect for the men and women of our armed forces who give of themselves, day in and day out, to protect our freedoms and our way of life. All too often, however, that protection comes at a great physical, mental and psychological price.
Realizing the sacrifices made by the men and women of the military, in 2015 we continue to support military veterans. Attorney Bartlett has selected the Kappa Sigma Fraternity’s 2015 Military Heroes Campaign charity.
Kappa Sigma’s Military Heroes Campaign was designed to honor and aid the thousands of wounded military veterans returning from active duty. The Military Heroes Campaign provides charitable donations to organizations such as the Fisher House and other entities. The Fisher House Foundation, is a segment of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund that provides free housing to wounded veterans and their families throughout the duration of rehabilitation.
The Fisher House Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a network of 38 comfort homes on the grounds of military and VA major medical centers. The houses are 5,000 to 16,000 square foot units, with up to 21 suites, donated to the military and Department of Veterans Affairs. The Foundation provides support to families of patients receiving care at the nearby medical center.
